Alcohol Permitting

Operator's Licenses (Bartender's Licenses) may be obtained at the Village Clerk's office. 
Please bring in the application, $5.00 cash or check, training certificate, and a photo ID.  A Provisional Operator's License will be issued while the Marshal's office conducts a background check.  Once the background check is complete and satisfactory, an Operator's License will be issued.  Operator's Licenses are $15.00 and valid through June 30th.

Temporary Class "B"/ "Class B" Retailer's Licenses for picnics or events may be obtained at the Village Clerk's Office.  These applications must be approved by the Village Board and are subject to specific waiting periods.  The application and $10.00 fee must be turned in at least seven days before an upcoming Board Meeting to be placed on the agenda for approval.  Contact the Village Clerk for details.

Alcohol Beverage Retail Licenses for restaurants, taverns, hotels etc. may be obtained at the Village Clerk's office.  Licenses are valid from July 1-June 30.  Please deliver License Application, Seller's Permit, Appointment of Agent form, all Individual Questionnaires, all Operator's License Applications, and appropriate fees to the Village Clerk's office by June 1 for a July 1 renewal. These licenses are subject to Village Board approval and public posting deadlines.  Applicant is responsible for publishing fees. Please contact Village Clerk for details.
