Administration

The Village Administrator is the Village's Chief Administrative Officer and is responsible for the implementation of the Village Board's policies and priorities. In this capacity, the Village Administrator serves the residents of Fredonia by carrying out these directives and oversees the Village's six departments to ensure that Fredonia's government is operating efficiently and effectively for it's residents.
Duties of the Village Administrator include:

  • Preparing the Annual Budget
  • Attending Village Board meetings
  • Recommending policies or programs to the Village Board
  • Keeping the Village Board fully advised on the financial conditions of the Village
  • Supplying the Village Board with information to aid decision-making
  • Personnel Director

Administrator Jenkins has held this position since October of 2022. He lives in West Bend with his wife and 5 children. He previously served as Administrator for the Village of Elmwood Park, WI, and Mayor of the City of West Bend. Jenkins also serves as the Clerk of the Town of Fredonia in a joint municipal role. He holds a Masters Degree in Public Administration from UW-Oshkosh and a Bachelors in Political Science from UW-Milwaukee. He is also a members of the League of WI Municipalities and the Government Finance Officers Association
